Course Rebates

The EFDA grant will offer assistants in the MFH service area a discount on their tuition.

  • Assistants must be currently employed by a dental practice whose address is in a county of the MFH service area.
  • Rebates are valued at $150 and are limited in number. The rebate amount does not cover the entire cost of an expanded functions course (each course is approximately $350).
  • There are no lengthy forms to complete – just register for the course and MDA will verify your eligibility (based on county of employment).
  • Upon successful course completion and issuance of certificate, the assistant/doctor who paid for the course will be reimbursed the rebate amount.

About MFH Service Area
The Missouri Foundation for Health was created in 2000 following Blue Cross Blue Shield of Missouri’s (BCBSMo) conversion from nonprofit to for-profit status. Today, MFH is the largest health care foundation in the state and is among the largest of its kind in the country.

MFH’s service area, which is identical to the former BCBSMo area, includes about 75% of the state – 84 Missouri counties and the City of St. Louis.
